Once you have finally gotten your nerve up to get the ink done now its time to look after it. If your new tattoo is not properally looked after and cared for during the healing process it could damage the final out come. Remeber they are permanent! | |||
1. Once the tattoo is finished remove the bandage after about hours. If the bandage sticks to the tattoo wet it slightly and remove gently. | |||
2. Wash the tattoo gently with soap and warm water. Do not scrub!!! Also you could let the shower beat directly on the tattoo. Pat the tattoo dry, do not rub! |

3. Use Neosporin, Polysporin or other petroleum based products (gel healers not cream). Apply small amount on hand (a clean hand!) and rub on gently. Do this for for about 2 weeks. Try to avoid letting your tattoo completly dry out. |

4. Keep your tattoo away from the sun, saltwater and chlorinated water (swimming pools) for at least two weeks. Sun and chlorinated water will fade and damaged an unnhealed tattoo. | |||
5. Keep your dirty, nasty hands off it! Do not rub or pick at the scab. | |||
